Minnesota fishing report - StarTribune.com: "Brainerd area: Overall, the fishing has been decent in the region. Anglers are having success on Gull Lake, North Long Lake and Whitefish Lake for walleyes. Gull, Nisswa, Margaret and North Long lakes have been a good bet for bass. North Long, Round and Whitefish lakes are producing crappies on the 12- to 15-foot weed lines."
